cute but flimsy

I bought these last december and have worn them fewer than 20 times and the soles on both shoes are cracked all the way across. So as soon as I step in any kind of puddle the insides of my shoes are soaked. I didn't mistreat the shoes in any way so its got to be crappy quality to the shoes.More detail ...

Big and clunky

Order a size down for these boots! I am usually a 9.5 to a 10 and the 9 was even a tiny bit big. These boots are NOT for walking - they offer little support. If you need rain boots just get the ugly kind that actually feel decent on your feet. The patterns are cute but these boots just aren't worth the money to look cute. Cute functional comfortable but...

There is a fingerprint indented in one of the boots! It is the print of an entire finger. Luckily I don't think anyone but me will notice because the pattern is busy enough to hide it. It is just odd and a bit disappointing for the price.



However I would like to say they are extremely comfortable compared to my last pair (which cost under $20 gave me blisters on the backs of my heels and ended up ripping in three different places before I decided it was time for new ones). I am a college student at a 40000 person university and when it rains down here it POURS. Rain boots in general have saved my pants and comfort many a time and I don't know what I ever did without them before. Make the investment! It's worth it!More detail ...

Just wait until it rains.

I fell in love with the cute design and bought a pair of chooka rainboots on impulse for $55. For the first few weeks they offered adequate protection but the thin lining rubbed terribly against my ankles and made my shins sweat. They also gave me thick blisters on the souls of my feet but at least they kept me dry. Then several months after my purchase (and right around when it was too late to return them) my left boot filled up with water when I was out for a walk. It seems that the seal had given out. I hadn't done anything to cause it--it's obviously a manufacturing defect. I wish I'd gone with the far cheaper pair of Target boots my friend got. I'd have about $30 more in my pocket and dry feet. Great rain boots!

These boots are terrific particularly at the price since they will be worn only occasionally. Comfortable and buying your regular shoe size allows for heavier socks inside. They come in lots of colours. Only complaint is they don't ship to Canada so I had to have them sent to a friend and then forwarded. Why is this? Other companies ship clothing items to Canada and Amazon ships books and CDs here so why not a pair of red boots? But good boots despite the hassle.More detail ...

Fabulous Boots! Fashionable and Functional!!

I have been on a long search for rain boots that are fashionable functional with no chemical smell and good craftsmanship! oh and affordable!!! I needed a pair that would look good with most of my outfits look stylish (I hate how most rain boots have an extra large toe box and are big and bulky - they remind me of the ones I had when I was a kid) - yuck! I also noticed that most affordable options looked awful smelled like chemicals and had glue marks where the sole meets the shoe - in the heel area and toe area (which is a good indicator that they would not last)!! On top of all of this I needed a pair that would withstand the rainy Chicago weather - and survive at least a year!!



Well after months of searching I FINALLY found a pair that meet all of my requirements and then some!

These look sleek and modern! No bulky toe box here (oh and my feet are wide and fit perfect with extra room) plus there is extra room in the calf area (which can be an issue and was something I was concerned about since I didn't try them on before buying). They also have a nice lining inside - some rain boots (especially the cheap ones don't have lining).



The company also recycles the boots so when you can no longer wear them you can send them back - so they are concerned with their environmental footprint!! This makes me happy as well as the fact that the company is known for making outdoor wear - so it is a good product with a very reasonable price!!!!! Plus they look fashionable!



I normally wear a 7 1/2 but purchased an 8. I am happy with the size I bought I do have more than enough extra room so just in case I wear a heavy socks my feet won't be squished. Hope this review helps!

Very cute and well made

I love these boots. When I ordered I was just looking for something functional for snowy days so I can get out to the driveway without changing my pants when I get back in. They are very well made and great traction in snow though they aren't slip proof for ice. But I don't know of any winter shoes that are completely slip-proof.

I don't mind the too cute and girly designs on the boots love the hearts except for the drawings of lipstick kisses and the underwear a bit much. I drew over the designs I didn't like with permanent markers. I'd be wearing these only around my property so it's no big deal. I like the color also. I think they're great buy if you're comfortable with its decorative drawings. The sellers are great also. These arrived promptly.

Best rain boots I've found.

I just got these boots and I love them. I looked at a lot of other rain boots before I selected these because I wanted something that was going to keep my foot warm and dry and not going to fall apart after a few months. These boots are waterproof lined sturdy and look cute with jeans tucked into them. They're warm enough for winter walks but also appropriate for the rest of the year.
